With over two decades of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, Angie offers a compassionate, trauma-informed approach for children, adolescents, and adults. After studying at Spring Hill College and University of South Alabama, she began her career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), working extensively with children and adolescents experiencing physical, emotional, and mental health disorders. Those early experiences continue to shape her work today, as she incorporates art and play therapy into counseling to create a safe and supportive environment where younger clients can express themselves, build confidence, and heal. Angie later expanded her work into addiction treatment, utilizing both her CTRS background and Adventure Based Counseling (ABC) within residential and outpatient settings to help individuals develop resilience, connection, and recovery skills through experiential therapies. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with a focus on trauma and addiction and is a Certified Addiction Counselor II (CACII). Angie’s holistic philosophy blends evidence-based counseling with mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and experiential approaches that support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. She believes deeply in the resilience of every individual and works to create a grounded, authentic space where clients feel supported in finding lasting healing, balance, and personal growth.
